Verena Paratore

Consulting Culture

Verena Paratore has forged a unique career path, transitioning seamlessly from being a sought-after classical pianist to holding managerial positions in the cultural sector and ultimately evolving into a Senior Consultant for international clients.

About

Verena Paratore had been managing director of the Versicherungskammer Kulturstiftung in Munich from September 2020 until March 2024. Her responsibilities included the strategic and operational planning of the international concert and event program, development of collaborations, contract negotiations, budget control, fundraising, and press work. For two years she shared leadership responsibilities with Barbara Schulte.

Simultaneously, Verena has been working as a consultant at C-Sharp GmbH in Hamburg since March 2022. In various roles she supported different IT projects for renowned international clients - including negotiations with the works council and overseeing transformation and implementation processes as project manager. 

As an internationally recognized concert pianist Verena performed in prestigious concert halls and with significant orchestras. Her academic background includes a master's degree in Culture and Music Management (2017–2019) from the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. Her continuing education include certifications as Scrum Master and Product Owner (2023) and as Transformation Manager for Sustainable Culture (2021–2022).

In the last years she expanded her knowledge -  she is at home not only in music and culture but bringing her experience as well into the field of business consulting. Her expertise has been acknowledged through the "30 under 30" Program Scholarship by the German Foundation Day in 2022 and the Deutschlandstipendium. She regularly serves as a jury member for various prestigious art and music competitions as well as scholarship programs

  • Verena Paratore has been working as a consultant at C-Sharp GmbH in Hamburg since March 2022. In various roles she supported different IT projects for renowned international clients - including negotiations with the works council and overseeing transformation processes as project manager. Currently she is managing an implementation process in an international company.

  • Initated by the “Aktionsnetzwerk Nachhaltigkeit” Verena Paratore was one of the first people getting certification as Transformation Manager for Sustainable Culture - since then she continuously educated herself further and offers her knowledge to cultural institutions - getting them ready for a sustainable future.

  • Verena Paratore has been actively involved as a volunteer jury member in several significant cultural initiatives:

    In the "Stipendien Musik der Stadt München" program, Verena Paratore contributed as a jury member, playing a key role in evaluating and selecting recipients for music scholarships in Munich.

    Her involvement in "Jugend musiziert" showcases a commitment to nurturing young musical talents.

    Additionally, Verena has contributed expertise to the "Kunstpreis des Landkreises Augsburg."

    Verena Paratore's voluntary efforts underscore a commendable commitment to fostering and celebrating artistic and musical excellence within the community.

Versicherungskammer Kulturstiftung

For nearly four years Verena had been managing director of the Versicherungskammer Kulturstiftung in Munich. Her responsibilities included the strategic and operational planning of the international concert and event program, development of collaborations, contract negotiations, budget control, fundraising, and press work. Since January 2022, she shared leadership responsibilities with Barbara Schulte.

Together they developed various concert programs, established collaborations with partners throughout the art landscape and formed a unique profile for the Versicherungskammer Kulturstiftung.
